These are not small numbers. We are talking. Increase your land value by 30-250% Depending on the specific manufacturer and ruling (AD Case A-570-979, CVD Case C-570-980).
“Well,” you think, “I’ll just get it from Southeast Asia.” Except the U.S. Department of Commerce is investigating transshipments — Chinese cells assembled in modules in Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Cambodia. The initial 2024 rulings applied retroactive duties to several major manufacturers in these countries.
Here’s a data point that should get your attention: Indonesia is one of the few Southeast Asian manufacturing sources not currently under AD/CVD investigation. By early 2026.
